This article explains how to generate an access token from HubSpot and integrate it with Roxwrite
Before you begin, make sure:
You have sufficient permissions to access the Developers section in HubSpot
You are authorized to create and manage legacy apps, and all required scopes.
Step 1: Access HubSpot Developer Settings
Log in to your HubSpot account
Go to Developers in the side menu
Select Legacy Apps in the sub-menu
Click Create legacy app
Step 2: Create a New Legacy App
Select Private App
Enter a name for the app (for example: RoxWrite Integration)
(Optional) Add logo and description for easy identification
Step 3: Configure App Scopes
Open the Scopes tab
Click Add New Scope option.
Search for and select the following scopes:
crm.dealsplits.read_write
crm.objects.companies.read
crm.objects.deals.read
crm.objects.deals.write
crm.objects.contacts.read
4. Click Create App
Step 4: Copy the Access Token
Open the newly created app
Navigate to the Auth tab
Locate the Access Token
Copy the token securely
⚠️ Keep this token confidential. Do not share it publicly.
Step 5: Add the Token in RoxWrite
Log in to RoxWrite
Go to Settings
Open HubSpot Integration
Paste the copied access token
