Managing Application Status

Once an application is created, you can assign a status to reflect its current stage in the underwriting process. Application statuses help track progress and manage applications throughout review.

Application Statuses:

  • New – The application is new, underwriting has not yet started.

  • Under Review – The application is being evaluated.

  • Needs More Information – Additional details or documentation are required to continue underwriting

  • Pending – The application is awaiting an external action or outcome

  • Cautionary Approval – The application is approved with conditions or identified risks that require monitoring.

  • Approved – The application has been approved

  • Declined – The application does not meet underwriting requirements

  • Canceled – The application is no longer being considered

You can update an application’s status at any time as the underwriting process progresses.
